900 MHz Wireless Relay

This ProXR Lite wireless relay controller allows you to control your relay over a long-range 900 MHz radio link with a line-of-sight range of up to 2 miles. The board communicates wirelessly with your computer through an external USB modem, appearing as a standard virtual COM port for simple software integration.

Wireless range depends on antenna placement and environmental conditions. Best performance is achieved when the antennas have a clear line of sight. Detailed modem information and configuration is available in the 900MHz Interface tab.

The ProXR Command Set

The R130PL_XSC uses the ProXR Command Set for simple yet powerful control. Send basic commands to turn relays on or off, or take advantage of advanced features like delays, flashers, duration timers, and full relay-status feedback. From quick automation scripts to full system integrations, ProXR commands deliver a proven, reliable command set trusted across the industry.

This model is part of the ProXR Lite series and is designed for applications that require reliable wireless relay control in a compact, non-expandable board.

Add Two Antenna Extension Cables?^Extension cables can be used to position the antennas if needed. Line-of-sight to each antenna greatly increases reliability. The antennas use an RP-SMA connection or Reverse Polarity SMA connector.:

Add a Power Supply?^Reliable Power Means Reliable Switching! The PWR12 is regulated power supply providing clean power necessary for the performance of this board. Choose US or International version:

Add Induction Suppression Capacitor?^The purpose of this capacitor is to absorb the high voltages generated by inductive loads, blocking them from the contacts of the relay, use when switching a motor or fluorescent lights:

Wireless Interface Installed^The modules installed are a 900MHz XBee-PRO 900HP with a 2-mile (3.2 km) range. The modules have an included external whip antenna:

ADD a 900MHz Modem?^The XBP24-AUI-EXT_ZIGMO modem is required. It plugs into the UPS port on your PC and will mount as a COM port. Next, send commands to the COM port and the modem will forward the commands wirelessly to the board!:

Add 2 Quick Connectors?^Wiring is done directly to the relay terminals using a common quick disconnect terminal. This connector supports 10-12 AWG wire and provides a firm connection to the relay. Requires crimping tool.:

Add a Plastic Enclosure for the Board?^The TFL Enclosure is an undrilled, non-waterproof enclosure, you will need to drill your on holes for the cables:

Add Software to Control This Board?^N-Button Software creates widgets or buttons to control relays using a point-and-click interface. N-Button Lite can put 16 widgets, N-Button Pro is unlimited. Relay Timer allows you control relays from a time schedule you create!:
