In this Application we will show you how to use any Key Fob or Reactor controller to sound an alarm when a door is opened. Needless to say this could be a very useful application for all of us. You could sound a buzzer when the door is opened or attach that contact closure to almost anything to alert you that a door has been opened. This could also be used as a window open alarm. Essentially you could setup a security system for your whole house using these controllers! This would most definitely be much cheaper than any off the shelf alarm system. This application will be very easy. It requires only one relay, 2 timers, and two inputs so an 8 relay controller could monitor up to 4 doors or windows using this setup. For this application I am using a single channel Reactor controller but any Key Fob or Reactor controller will work. So let's get started.
