Ethernet Network Module
Introducing
ZETH; the Ethernet Network communications Module from National Control Devices. Designed to plug into NCD Surface Mount devices, two powerful Ethernet network communication options bring you device connectivity from anywhere in the world. Our first generation of Ethernet relay controllers was based on the Digi Connect ME Ethernet communications module. This is a great low-cost solution that has empowered our users since 2005. The Digi Connect ME firmware allows you to login to the device and setup powerful network communication options. Though it does not offer a web browser interface for relay/device control, it does offer many powerful connectivity options for advanced networks at a very low cost. ZETH-ME supports Virtual COM Port Ethernet Communications, Direct TCP/IP communications, or direct communication to SignalSwitch.com. ZETH-ME is only capable of handling only one of these communication options at a time, but can easily be reconfigured if you prefer to change how you communicate.
ProXR Lite Relay Controller
Our ProXR series controllers have served as the foundation for our relay control architecture since 2004. Since that time, thousands of ProXR controllers have made their way to engineers all over the world. As our customer base has grown, our customers have developed a need for a high-functioning low-cost relay controller suitable for volume manufacturing. The ProXR LITE series controllers are manufactured by machines at high speed and in high volumes. The goal is to offer most of the features of a ProXR relay controller at significant cost savings.
The ProXR Lite series are based on the same designs that offer a 5 year warranty. However, in an effort to further save cost, we have limited the warranty of the ProXR Lite series controllers. ProXR Lite series controllers are guaranteed ONLY against manufacturing and functionality defects for a period of 30 days. Controllers that are damaged by our customers will not be warranted under any circumstances. ProXR Lite series controllers are designed for long life; however, should they be damaged, they should be discarded and replaced.
Unlike the ProXR series relay controllers, ProXR Lite series controllers are NOT expandable. The firmware still thinks 256 relays are available, however, the relay portion of the controller only responds to the first 1, 2, 4 or 8 relays in Bank 1. We did NOT skip the Analog Input portion of the ProXR Lite. All ProXR lite controllers offer a 8-Channel 8/10-Bit Analog to Digital Converter in addition to relay control. The ProXR Lite responds to the same firmware as the ProXR series controllers and is therefore 100% compatible with any applications designed to work with a ProXR series controller (

ProXR Lite Is Here!
A more streamlined manufacturing process brings a more durable, reliable and better relay board to the market. Here's a lists of great features:
User Friendly Board Design
- Surface mount allows for a smaller board
- Break-A-Way Tabs lets you decide the board's size
- Interchangeable interfaces allows you to upgrade or change your interface at any time
ProXR Lite Features
- Works with the fullProXR Command Set
- 8-Channel 8/10-Bit Analog to Digital Converter
- Highly reliable relay with industry leading command set
ProXR Lite Limitations
- This controller cannot be expanded
A/D Conversion on the R25PL_ZETH-ME
Analog to Digital conversion is available on the R25PL_ZETH-ME controller.
Analog to Digital Conversion allows you to read voltage levels from 0-5 volts using 8-bit or 10-bit resolution. A/D Inputs are useful for reading, temperature sensors light level sensors, thermocouples, switch closures, or just about any other kind of sensor you can think of. Built-In Pull-Up/Down Resistors keep the inputs quiet. Eight Different A/D Sample programs are available in the
NCD Component Library. These samples are available as a free download and are compatible with Visual Studio. We've got sensors! Visit our
Sensor Page for sensors that have been tested and work with the R25PL_ZETH-ME controller.

Product Variation: Web-i with Web-Browser Interface
NCD Currently offers 2 variations of the Ethernet Modules. The Web-i with Web-Browser interface is also available.
Web-i is our own breed of Ethernet communications. Web-i is an Open-Source project that offers a powerful web-browser interface for direct control of relays from a web-page served directly to users from the Web-i module, without the need for a server. Web-i is accessible from anywhere on your local area network. If you have a static IP address, Web-i is accessible from anywhere in the world. In addition to a web browser relay control interface, Web-i devices also allow you to control the device from your own software through direct TCP/IP communications while still hosting a web browser interface. Write software that directly accesses the controller or access the control from your web browser. Web-i also supports a simultaneous connection to SignalSwitch.com, allowing you to control the Web-i from our server, your program, or your web browser...all at the same time. N-Button
N-Button & N-Button Lite is software that allows you to configure buttons to control relays and read the status of those relays without programming. You can also create meters for reading variable input sensors connected to the board in real time! N-Button will allow you to create unlimited widgets and N-Button Lite will allow you to create up to 8 widgets.
Custom Buttons
When you create custom buttons in N-Button & N-Button Lite you can use any of the commands that are in a ProXR Command Set that is available with this relay. You can find the
full command set here. It's quite extensive and you can configure the buttons to activated these commands. These buttons will be on your desktop of your computer and when you click on a button it will send the command to the board provided the board is connected to the computer. You can also change the shape, color and text of each button so you will know exactly what each button controls.
Relay Buttons
Relay Button widgets turn on/off relays directly. It has never been easier to control relays, no programming skills required. Create a button that turns a relay on and another one to turn the relay off or create a button that toggles the relay on and off. It's up to you and easy to configure with the N-Button Lite software!
Relay Status Relay Status widgets shows the status of the relay automatically. Just a glance at your desktop will show the status of the relay!
Desktop Meters
Desktop Meters can be created for real time level readings of any variable input sensor. "It's like having a meter right on your desk for constant monitoring". Meters can be created for temperature sensors, moisture sensors, light meters and others. Read the sensor and create relay buttons that will allow at-a-glance determination of the relay status. Best of all the increments on the meter can be fully customized to fit your needs and the meters will work with this board!
